School hours

School Routine                                                         

8.00am
  • Students allowed to enter grounds.  Students should NOT be at school prior to this time as they are unsupervised.   
  • Morning activities – board games & reading are held in CPA2.  Students should be in NO other areas – please bring your child to Undercover area if arrive before 8.20am.
  • Tuckshop is NOT open before school.   Students must order using ‘brown bag’ at the classroom.

Music plays for students to make way to classroom.    
8.30am
Bell rings - Students to be IN the classroom ready for Learning to start.  Some classes have reading start at this time.
10.30am
Bell Rings - Students make their way to play areas.
10.57am
Music plays – Students make their way to Eating areas  (outside classrooms not undercover areas)
11.10am
Bell Rings – Students line up at classroom – ready for Learning
1.10pm
Bell Rings - Students make their way to play areas.
1.27pm
Music plays – Students make their way to Eating areas  (outside classrooms not undercover areas)
1.40pm
Bell Rings – Students line up at classroom – ready for Learning
2.25pm
Music commences for teachers to walk students to front of school. At 2:30pm students released signalling end of school day.
 
Office Hours
The office is attended Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 3:30pm.

  • believes all children should be enrolled at school and attend school all day, every school day
  • monitors, communicates and implements strategies to improve regular school attendance
  • believes that it is a parents and caregivers responsibility to ensure that their child attends school on every school day for the educational program in which he/she enrolled
  • insists that at any time a student is not attending school or participating in their educational program and it is considered an absence, it must be explained.
  • believes truanting can place a student in unsafe situations and impact on their future employability and life choices
  • believes attendance at school is the responsibility of everyone in the community.
